THE
NATIONAL SYSTEM OF PROTECTED WILD AREAS – ONLINE TICKET SALES
PLATFORM
REFUND POLICY
The National Forest Corporation (CONAF) informs all users
that tickets, passes or entrance fees purchased through its
online platform are final and nonrefundable. We encourage our
users to carefully read and understand this policy. To avoid
any inconvenience, please verify your personal and billing
information before purchase confirmation. Please Note: You will
not be able to make changes once your order has been submitted.
Our refund policy is set out in accordance with Chile
Consumer Protection Law No. 19.496 under provisions of its
Article 3 bis, letter b).
In the event of a wild area closure due to Acts of God
and/or force majeure such as, without limitation, natural
disasters (volcanic eruptions, landslides, floods, hurricanes,
tornadoes, earthquakes, wild fires, others); or a public health
emergency declaration by the local or national authority, CONAF
may issue a full refund of the value paid by the buyer upon
validation, authorization and coordination with our sales team.
Customers may submit a refund request through our website
platform within 30 days of the date of closure. To proceed,
please fill out this online refund request form including order
confirmation details, national or international bank account
information.
To be eligible for a full refund, the customer must
request the exact amount originally paid (partial refunds are
not allowed). Visitors already in the park or protected area,
at the time of closure, cannot request a refund.
If a refund is issued, it will be issued to the bank
account provided in the refund request form, through a wire
transfer. We will not be liable for travel or any other
expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a
closure within our national network of protected wild areas.
Please allow thirty (30) business day from the date of
receipt of a refund request and confirmation of payment booked
in CONAF’s bank account.
